I have decided that for my short film I am going to use a voice over from the character of the old man. It is going to start about 1 minute into the film, after the establishing shots and the main titles of the short. He is going to be reminiscing about his relationship with his wife and the memories he has of them together. This will work as a narrative explaining what is happening. It will then continue as dialogue when he is in the grave yard and finish with him saying something about missing his wife.
